Adult Program
The Adult Program is designed to be housed within either the
Geriatric Program or within the Dual Recovery Program. Respective
placement is based on the age of the individual and his/her level of
functioning. The
Adult Psychiatric program treats adult individuals presenting with the
entire Continuum of Axis I psychiatric disorders.
This program is designed to:
- Stabilize the acute psychiatric crisis.
- Help identify triggers or stressors leading to exacerbation of the
illness.
- The development of a comprehensive aftercare plan. The
multidisciplinary team is designed to develop an individualized
treatment plan for each patient. Treatment occurs in the individual,
group and family formats providing comprehensive services based on
each patient's needs.
