The Adult Partial Hospitalization Program provides an intensive
psychiatric treatment environment for individuals 18 years of age and
older who are experiencing various psychiatric problems.
The program is more structured than traditional outpatient services
and is an alternative for individuals who do not require
hospitalization. It combines the attention and supervision of a hospital
setting with the accessibility and cost-effectiveness of a community
outpatient program, allowing patients to receive treatment while living
at home or in a community setting.
Through comprehensive, individualized treatment, the program seeks to
stabilize symptoms and maximize function.
The program runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily. Transportation is
available.
Holliswood Hospital is certified by the New York State Office of
Mental Health, and accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation
of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO).
