Program Description:
The Children’s Service is a 15-bed program that will be providing intensive inpatient psychiatric care for children ages 4-11.
The services will include structured activities for the patients while offering parenting skills workshops and multi-family group for parents and relatives. The patients will participate in a school program that will run for several hours per day. Additionally, there will be professionally run activities groups that will address specific concerns as identified in individualized treatment plans.
Aftercare planning will be provided for all patients as their comprehensive post discharge needs are defined by a multi-discipline treatment team. The staff of the program is committed to working together with referents and aftercare providers.
