The Dual Diagnosis Program is a comprehensive treatment program for patients diagnosed with psychiatric illness and addiction disorders.
The program utilizes cognitive behavioral and 12-step approaches. Additionally, the treatment often includes family and individual therapy. The program can provide detoxification, as well as relapse prevention education. For individuals with psychiatric symptoms and substance abuse issues the goals are as follows:

1. To learn the relationship between substance abuse and psychiatric symptoms.
2. To learn to identify triggers which lead to relapse.
3. To learn relapse prevention and other coping strategies.
